Born Into the Cold, Raised With Patience: Chuba’s Quiet Beginning

 1. Found Before Life Could Begin

On a freezing winter day, a newborn puppy was discovered lying alone on cold ground.
His umbilical cord and placenta were still attached. There was no sign of his mother anywhere nearby. With temperatures unforgiving and time running out, the rescuer made a simple choice—to take him home and give him a chance to live.

2. The First Nights of Survival

The puppy was carefully cleaned, warmed, and dried.
His umbilical cord was cut properly, and he was placed in a small nest surrounded by warm bottles. He was too weak to drink from a spoon, so feeding became a slow, patient process. For days, the nights passed in shifts—checking his breathing, adjusting the warmth, making sure he stayed alive.

3. Learning How to Live

By the third day, another challenge appeared.
The tiny puppy had not been able to relieve himself. After careful research and gentle stimulation, the problem was resolved. It was a small victory, but an important one. He was given a name—Chuba—marking the moment he was no longer just surviving, but becoming someone’s responsibility.

4. Growing One Step at a Time

Days turned into weeks, and Chuba grew stronger.
He learned to drink formula from a syringe, then from a bottle. Around day twelve, he began to wobble on unsteady legs, often crawling out of his bed in search of his caregiver. Teeth slowly appeared. His coat thickened. One day, without being taught, he found the training pad on his own.

5. A World Gets Bigger

As Chuba grew, loneliness became noticeable.
To give him companionship, another puppy was welcomed home—a corgi named Chujiu. Not long after, their living space expanded too. A carefully built two-level enclosure appeared, complete with soft flooring and room to explore. What began as a rescue slowly became a shared home.

6. Care Beyond the Basics

Health routines followed as both puppies matured.
Vaccinations were given on schedule. When skin irritation appeared, treatments were applied, bedding cleaned, and living areas disinfected. Meals were prepared by hand—balanced, warm, and nourishing. Training began gently, teaching patience before eating and cooperation through trust.

7. A Life Built Slowly, With Intention

By the third month, Chuba was no longer the fragile newborn found in the cold.
He moved with confidence, ate eagerly, and rested beside his companion. His life was not shaped by urgency or spectacle, but by consistency—warmth, care, and time. Sometimes, that is how the strongest beginnings are made.
